tomorrow i turn 18

and my life will be so over.

i've been really sad lately, because i don't want tomorrow to happen. ever. i want to be small and childish and naive and ignorant of everything in the world.

and i dont want to go to school tomorrow. i want to stay home and eat poptarts and watch the little mermaid and blow bubbles.

:(

  1. Aw, happy birthday. Just know that freedom is right around the corner.
    ((hugs))

I'm a senior too, and god it's scary. We have the strength to survive this year and go to college. Trust me.

  2. hun just because you turn 18 you dont have to grow up - I just turned 20 and I still wear my same purple leopard print cardi from h and m and my mr men print skirt and have no idea what goes on in the world and sing out loud out of tune in the street and suck lollipops and draw with crayons!!

Everything will be fine, you'll see. Disney doesnt stop playing because you are 18. Promise! x xx x x

  3. Aw happy birthday!
I know what you mean....I just turned 20! Oo.
I don't know if there's ever a point where you say "okay, I'm not longer childish in any way, I'm a capable and responsible adult" ( I sure haven't reached it!) but age IS just a number and growing up does not mean you stop watching disney!

  4. happy birthday, lovely! i always get depressed around my birthday too. have a cupcake, it'll make you feel like a little kid again and that's always wonderful!

p.s. there's nothing wrong with you plan of poptarts and little mermaid. there's plenty of us out there eighteen and older who would love to join you ;-)

  6. I didn't want to grow up either, ever. But even though I'm 22 with 2 kids and a husband, I still will watch cartoons in my underwear, play Barbies with my 4 year old, and laugh at the word "shaft". 18 is just a number! Cheer up! You can legally buy porn, lottery tickets, and cigarettes at 18! Even if you don't want to, you know you can!

  7. Personally, I love getting older. Another year passes - another year of experience, of personal growth, knowledge, adventures.. and another year on it's way! I always get excited wondering what is around the corner; what I will experience TODAY, tomorrow, and where I will be a year from now. I like looking back and seeing how far I have come and how I have succeeded in what I do. It's exciting; it's rewarding; birthdays are a blessing!

I know it's a little late, but still.. Happy Birthday!!

OH and one more thing.. you are only ever as old as you want to be. You don't have to grow up if you don't want to ;)
